SporeVirtualPet :: AbulbA – Android Mobile Applications

SporeVirtualPet is a game similar to the old Tamagotchi games which first appeared in 1996.

The idea of the game, in case you haven’t played it, is to look after after a virtual pet and care for it’s needs. You do this by using buttons below the pet that allows you to feed it when it’s hungry, take it to the vet when it’s poorly and give it cuddles and grooming to make it happy. The Spore Virtual Pet also allows you to play games with your pet. This is a way to not only increase it’s intelligence (if you beat it), but also adds more variety into the game itself. Currently there only two games that come with the current package and they are a game of Four in a Row and a card game called Crazy Eights. There are plans however to increase this in future releases of the game.

Spore Virtual Pet also allows you to have a basic conversation with your pet, and this increases it’s Charisma. The chat AI is based on the Eliza algorithm. Also there is a shop facility built into the game, but this is currently closed for this version. This will open for business in later versions of the game.

The creature graphics that are used in Spore Virtual Pet are based on the Spore API from Electronic Arts and as such all copyright of the images belong to them or the creature makers.
